Monitoring water flows on Glenthorne

Learn how monitoring water flows will help ecologists design a wetland and creekline at Glenthorne National Park-Ityamaiitpinna Yarta.

A new flow monitoring station has been installed at Glenthorne to provide environmental engineers and ecologists with important information on water flows entering the property from Majors Road.

The flow monitoring station was installed late last month and will provide real-time flow measurements that will be used in conjunction with rainfall measured across South Road at Happy Valley Reservoir to develop a sophisticated rainfall-runoff model for the park.
