Ranger station opening soon at Glenthorne

The Glenthorne property will be home to a temporary station that southern park rangers will use as a base. Take a look at the new facility.

If you pass the Glenthorne property in the coming weeks, you’ll notice construction is underway on a temporary Glenthorne Ranger Station.

The local southern ranger team will use this building as their base servicing parks across the precinct.

The station will feature a covered deck with expansive views across a majority of the property and out to the coast. Once it’s open there will be opportunities for members of the public to meet the local southern ranger team and access information about the creation of Glenthorne National Park.

It’s expected that construction will be complete by the end of July, with an opening date to be advised.
