Glenthorne Community Update Session July 2020

On 16 July, mem­bers of the Glen­thorne Part­ner­ship host­ed the first Com­mu­ni­ty Update Ses­sion at the Cove Civic Centre.

These ses­sions are a great oppor­tu­ni­ty to learn more detail about the cre­ation of Glen­thorne Nation­al Park-Itya­mai­it­pin­na Yarta and ask any questions.

July’s ses­sion includ­ed an intro­duc­tion from Min­is­ter for Envi­ron­ment and Water David Speirs, a detailed overview from Depart­ment for Envi­ron­ment and Water staff on the imple­men­ta­tion and reveg­e­ta­tion plans for the precinct, and also includ­ed a pre­sen­ta­tion from the City of Mar­i­on on the plans for BMX and Soc­cer facilities.
